Back to the grind

29 Mar

Hello, readers (all three of you).

I have been traveling for work recently with no time to update this blog.  I haven’t even been keeping up with my favorite news sites for possible Brown Girl subjects.

I had a great weekend with some college friends this weekend.  Our conversation at a local brewery involved job stresses, healthcare expenses, and how exactly we are going to achieve these life goals we have in the back of our head. I keep thinking I should feel more weird about this new life stage, but so far I think I’m okay.  Though I do spend a lot of time researching new jobs and graduate school options.  At least until I become overwhelmed by the options and wander away from my computer.

So as a distraction, I’m thinking of taking a vacation soon.  My mom and I have always wanted to go to Europe together so I’ve found some great package deals for Spain.  In the more immediate future, I’m thinking a long weekend in Montreal or Quebec City sounds fun.  Any one have any tips on these places?  In the meantime, I will stare at my pictures from my last excursion in Seville, Spain three years ago:

Y’know what makes it even more adult-like? The fact that we’re “college friends.”

I think I cancel it out when I say things like “adult-like” though.

Aaahhh! I kind of hate myself right now for using that phrase.

Hope I am not one of your three readers?
Excited to hear about your plans of taking a trip to Europe.
Hope you don’t mean you don’t want to go back to Spain – there are still lots of places to go!
